How do I record with Nvidia Shadowplay?

Mine works fine, but not with the 64bit client. On some machines you CAN do this with the 64 bit client, on others it won't work. With laptops the odds are it won't. So start with the 32 bit client. Then if that works go on to try the 64 bit.

1.Before you start the game you need to start the NVIDIA GeForce Experience. You can do that from a menu, the system tray, or by finding the program with a search in the start screen (is anyone still using the WIn 8 start screen?).

2.Once that is started, make sure your driver is up to date. Next click the Preferences tab. On the left from a small menu, choose ShadowPlay. This will allow you to set up your preferences. They are:

3.Camera -- this is your web cam, a pic of you in the corner of the screen. I leave this OFF but you may choose to turn it on and choose which corner to use for the webcam vid.

Status Indicator - A little green dot in the corner of your screen that tells you when you are recording. I put mine on the lower right.

FPS counter -- if for some reason you need an independent FPS counter, turn this on. Otherwise, leave it off. There is an FPS counter build into ESO.

4.Next choose your microphone to be always on or push-to-talk. I don't speak in my videos so I choose push to talk.

5.Next look at the Keyboard Shortcuts. Note that most key combos will NOT work in ESO because the Alt , Ctrl, and shift keys already have other functions. I set "Toggle manual recording" to F9 and "Activate Push-to_Talk" to F8. I ignored all the other ones. YMMV. Once that configuration is done, you should not have to do it again unless you need to change some option.

6.Next click the ShadowPlay button on the upper right. A small popup will appear with a few more settings for ShadowPlay. I choose In-Game audio, medium quality, and manual mode. In manual mode you will turn recording on and off by pressing the F9 key (or other key you set up above).

7.Finally, make sure the switch on the left it ON with a green light showing.

DON'T CLOSE THE GEFORCE EXPREIENCE WINDOW OR SHADOWPLAY POPUP. Just start your game. Once you have chosen a character, they have come up and are standing there ready to play, you can press F9 to start recording and F9 again to stop.

Clever Alchemist is a very bad set for PvE. It might seem like that it synergizes well with nightblade and Argonian potion passives, but it is inferior to Julianos even if you are popping potions on cooldown.
